Rain check

I must admit, I did not know what a rain check was until a few years ago...

 

So if the store is out of stock on an discounted item, you can ask for a rain check.

This allows you to buy the item on a later date with the discounted price!

Not all stores offer rain checks, but it's worth asking.  :)
